Custom Software Development
Tailor-made software built around how your business actually works: adopted quickly by your team and able to grow with you.
Definition
What is custom software?
Custom (tailor-made, bespoke) software is designed and built for one organisation's own processes, rules and users, rather than adapted from a generic package. The organisation controls its roadmap and its data.
It does not mean writing everything from scratch. For standard building blocks such as authentication, payments and email we use mature, proven services, and spend the effort where your business is different: your rules and workflows.
When
When do you need custom software?
If two or more of these sound familiar, custom software is likely to cost less over time than another package:
- Quotes, orders, bookings or stock live across spreadsheets, email and WhatsApp.
- The same data is typed into two or three systems by hand.
- Your current software covers part of the job; the rest still runs on files.
- Your pricing, approval or commission rules cannot be expressed in standard tools.
- Per-seat licence costs multiply as the team grows.
- People need to work where there is no connection: warehouses, customer visits, tours.
- You have an idea for a software product (SaaS) to sell to your own customers.
Services
What we build
Bespoke business software
Web-based systems that bring operations, quoting, ordering, bookings, approvals and reporting into one place, with role-based access and an audit trail. Example: Toravio, built for travel agencies.
Web application development
Fast, accessible and search-friendly web apps and sales sites with Next.js and React. Example: the Fethiye paragliding site scored 100 in all four desktop Lighthouse categories during development.
SaaS development
Subscription software products with multi-tenant architecture, per-tenant data isolation, role management, bilingual interfaces and scalable cloud infrastructure. Examples: Toravio and the AWS-based e-tendering platform E-İhalePro.
Mobile and offline-first apps (PWA)
Web apps that install and behave like native apps on tablets and phones, with no app-store approval. The catalogue lives on the device, records are kept offline and synced when the connection returns. Example: SipRota.
Integrations and APIs
Bridges between your systems: e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce), WhatsApp, exchange-rate services, public and regulatory data sources, payment and shipping services.
AI and automation
Retrieval-augmented (RAG) systems that answer from your documents and regulations with sources, plus automation for document preparation and classification. Example: Vera for cosmetics regulatory consulting.
Cost & timeline
How long does it take and what drives the cost?
A first version focused on a single workflow can go live in a few weeks; SipRota was planned for delivery in 3–5 weeks. Multi-tenant SaaS platforms and multi-module business systems grow in stages over months.
- Scope: number of screens, business rules and reports.
- User roles: who sees, edits and approves what.
- Integrations: e-commerce, payments, WhatsApp, accounting, public data.
- Special requirements: offline mode, multiple languages, multi-tenancy, AI.
- Data migration: records moved from spreadsheets and existing systems.
We send a proposal once the scope is agreed in writing. Hosting, backups and support are planned separately as a monthly service, so the software keeps running well after launch.

FAQ
Custom software questions
Is custom software cheaper than off-the-shelf software?
In the short term, packaged software is usually cheaper. Once per-seat licences, manual work for unsupported processes and integration limits are counted, custom software often becomes the more economical option within a few years for businesses with non-standard processes.
Does custom software make sense for a small business?
Yes, if the scope is chosen well. Starting with the single process that wastes the most time, such as field ordering or quoting, keeps the investment small and the payback fast.
Cloud or on-premise?
Both are possible. We usually recommend managed cloud infrastructure (AWS, Supabase, Cloudflare); when regulation or company policy requires it, we deploy to your own servers with Docker.
